Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took part in the production of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Sleeping Beauty, presented on the stage of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre Astana Opera.

The aspiring artists gave a brilliant performance of the "Waltz of the Flowers", showcasing not only their technical skills but also striking expressiveness. Participation in such productions offers young dancers invaluable experience performing on a professional stage and allows them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a grand theatre.

Their performance became a true highlight of the ballet, winning over the audience with its sincerity and unexpectedly mature stage presence. It was more than just a part of the production—it became a living embodiment of tradition and the high level of training provided at the Academy, where experienced teachers devote their soul and mastery to nurturing the next generation of performers.

It is worth noting that the premiere of this version of the ballet took place in the summer of 2025 and marked a significant event: the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography once again affirmed its status as the leading ballet educational institution in Central Asia—a cradle of future stars of the stage.
