On March 2 and 5, 2026, as part of the nationwide charity campaign “Start the Year with Kindness!” initiated by the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, students and faculty of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held two charitable concerts dedicated to Thanksgiving Day. The events were organized for patients and staff of the National Scientific Center for Maternal and Child Health, as well as the Cardiac Surgery Clinic “Heart Center” of the University Medical Center Corporate Fund.
As the regional representative of the Federation in Astana, the Academy annually supports this initiative, which brings people together to help socially vulnerable groups.
This year, the campaign took on special significance: the Academy is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Continuing the traditions of humanitarianism, unity, and mutual support, the Academy prepared a vibrant concert program for children. Young performers presented a variety of creative numbers, including choreographic works, vocal performances, and instrumental music.
The festive events were organized through the combined efforts of students, faculty, parents, and the Academy’s administration. Participants noted that such gatherings help bring joy to children and serve as a reminder of the importance of kindness, mutual support, and the power of art.
