Psychological training on formation of stress resistance and resilience for high school students was conducted by a psychologist of the Department of Educational Work and Social Issues.
Purpose of the psychological training: formation of adequate attitude to life difficulties - perception of difficulties as opportunities for development and personal growth, formation of stress resistance.
At the beginning of the training a conversation was held about what difficulties pupils meet most often, about their attitude to difficulties.
The students were familiarized with excerpts from biographies of world famous people, whose life story is an example of overcoming difficulties on the way to success. The pupils themselves also gave many examples of people who were not broken by hard trials.
The parable "The Lesson of the Butterfly" was listened to and analyzed.
During the exchange of opinions it was concluded that trials make us stronger, any trial and failure gives us an opportunity for development and personal growth.
In the practical part of the training exercises "In every "minus" - three "pluses" were performed.
Self-regulation skills are necessary for successful overcoming of difficulties. Together with the psychologist, the students recalled the main ways of relieving nervous and psychological tension, which were mentioned at the previous trainings. The guys told about what gives them strength to overcome difficulties.
The training was held on a positive wave.
