Science cafe on the topic “Ecology and art”

Last Friday, September 22, the first meeting of the new academic year took place in the Science cafe format on the topic “Ecology and Art”. The event raised the important issue of the importance of human activity in preserving the environment, the ability of art to influence and transform people’s thinking.

The weather was favorable, so the Botanical Garden, next to which the Academy is located, was chosen as the meeting place. The students gathered in a general circle, discussed the problem, analyzed famous works of eco-art, and held a game workshop: future art managers and artists, using available tools, created crafts from materials that pollute the city space – disposable bags, plastic cups, etc. The students did an excellent job with the task. And, most importantly, we thought about an environmental project!
