KAZAKH NATIONAL ACADEMY OF CHOREOGRAPHY SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED IN BISHKEK

On May 7, 2024, an exceptional event took place – the Academy impressed Kyrgyz audiences with a unique gala concert on the stage of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

The Academy presented a concert program in two sections, including the painting “Underwater Kingdom” from the ballet “The Humpbacked Horse” and choreographic numbers from classical, contemporary and national repertoire.

The uniqueness of this concert lies not only in its variety and high level of performance, but also in the fact that the students of the Academy were given the opportunity to show their talents and skills in front of the Kyrgyz audience.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Timurlan Azhymaliev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Joomart Otorbaev.

In his speech, Joomart Otorbaev expressed confidence that the concert of students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography will bring unforgettable pleasure to the audience, and also noted the expansion of creative contacts and exchange of experience in the field of choreography as evidence of strengthening cultural ties between the countries.

Rector of the Academy Bibigul Nusipzhanova noted that the appearance of young talents on the big stage, where famous coryphees of Kyrgyz ballet art work, brings them honor, and also thanked the parties that assisted in organizing and holding the concert.

This event was a landmark step in strengthening friendly relations and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic, confirming the importance and richness of choreographic art for both nations.
