Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choreography Evgeniy Moiseev became the choreographer of the XIV Winter Charity Ball

The Winter Charity Ball, annually organized by the Bolashak Corporate Foundation, took place in Astana. As last year, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography were also among the debutants of the ball. The Winter Ball is a ball with meaning, even when selecting debutants, during the casting, great attention is paid to those who have experience in volunteering. This year, a total of 30 debutants were selected to participate in the XIV Winter Charity Ball, delighting the guests of the ball with their outstanding performances. For several months, young people of different professions trained diligently with Evgeniy Moiseev, the choreographer of the Winter Charity Balls, Deputy Dean of the Choreography Faculty of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, member of the Sports Dance Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the “Generation of Independence” project. Traditionally, the ball consists of performances by debutants. This year 5 dances were presented: Polonaise, Waltz, Tango, Latin and Disco. The annual winter charity ball has an 11-year history. Every year the event is organized to attract public attention to the problems of obtaining a quality education for children with special needs and supporting talented youth. Its essence is not only in the performance of debutants, but also in the programs that are implemented by the Bolashak Foundation with funds raised during the ball. More than 90 million tenge were collected at the last charity ball. The proceeds will be used for social projects “Every child deserves school” and “Travel grants”.
