The director of the play “Zhoshy Khan” met with the creative youth of Kazakhstan
At the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, a meeting was held with the director of the historical drama “Zhoshy Khan” Bolat Uzakov and the actors of the State Musical and Drama Theater named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev, who played the main roles in the play.
The interest in the details of the creative performance was not accidental, because the production tells the story of one of the main characters – Zhoshy Khan, the eldest son of Chingiz Khan, who is the founder of the Zhoshy ulus in the heart of the Great Steppe – Ulytau.
According to director Bolat Uzakov, the performance is patriotic in nature. We wanted to convey our national culture and history to the younger generation through the stage. The director spoke in detail about the play, which consists of two parts, “The Horde of Chingiz Khan” and “The Kazakh Horde.”
According to students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, the performance has many interesting moments and wisdom that needs to be passed on from generation to generation.
In turn, the actors spoke in more detail about the characters of the play and about the difficulties they had to face when entering the image of one or another character in the drama. It is worth noting that when staging the historical drama “Zhoshy Khan”, 3D technologies were used on stage.
By the way, this year marks the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Zhoshy ulus.
