The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography demonstrated a 100% employment for its graduates

Among all universities in the country, one national university has demonstrated a 100 percent employment for its students.

The average level of employment of graduates of Kazakhstani universities, according to a study conducted by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was 82.8%. This was announced by the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance of Science and Higher Education Adlet Toybaev.

As he noted, the average duration of a job search is 79 days, while graduates of popular educational programs find employment within a month. As statistics show, a high level of employment is observed among graduates of national universities.

The employment rate among graduates of national educational institutions looks like this:

  • Kazakh National Academy of Choreography – 100%;
  • Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Zhurgenev – 97%;
  • Kazakh National Medical University named after Asfendiyarov – 93%;
  • Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University – 89%;
  • Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Satpayev – 88;
  • Eurasian National University named after Gumilev – 88%;
  • Al-Farabi Kazakh National University – 86%;
  • Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai – 83%;
  • Kazakh National Agrarian Research University – 83%.

 

State higher education institutions have the following results:

  • East Kazakhstan Technical University named after Serikbayev – 94%;
  • Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after Altynsarin – 94%;
  • Semey Medical University – 92%;
  • Kostanay Regional University named after Baitursynov – 89%;
  • North Kazakhstan University named after Kozybayev – 88%;
  • West Kazakhstan University named after Utemisov – 88%;
  • Karaganda University named after academician Buketov – 86%;
  • Aktobe Regional University named after Zhubanov – 86%;
  • South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University – 81%.

 

Private universities have also demonstrated significant success in graduate employment:

  • Narxoz University – 95%;
  • Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after Daukeev – 92%;
  • Kazakh-British Technical University;
  • Astana IT University – 92%;
  • Maqsut Narikbayev University – 91%;
  • University of International Business named after Sagadiev – 83%;
  • Almaty Management University – 81%;
  • Kazakh-Mem University – 82%;
  • KIMEP University – 84%.

 

As Adlet Toybaev noted, there are also differences in job placement rates across academic fields: Health and Social Welfare boasts a high job placement rate of 89%, while Arts and Humanities has the lowest at 76%.

“The median salary of graduates in 2023 was 168,156 tenge, which indicates a positive trend in successful employment,” concluded Adlet Toybaev.
