Academic mobility announcement

Dear Students!

We would like to inform you that we are extending applications for participation in the academic mobility program under bilateral agreements for the spring semester of academic year 2022-2023 until 2 p.m. November 11, 2022.

Information for filing an application

Students who meet the following requirements can participate in the competition at the expense of the national budget (only for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan studying on state educational order):

• mastered a minimum of 60 ECTS credits for undergraduate courses (usually students of 2-3 years of study);
• A-, A-, B+, B-; C+ academic performance
• knowledge of a foreign language at the level prescribed by the host organization of higher and postgraduate education (hereinafter – HPE);
• not to have a disciplinary punishment at the moment of application.

Students applying for academic mobility at their own expense must meet the following requirements:

• “A”, “A-“, “B+”, “B”, “B-“; “C+” academic performance;
• knowledge of a foreign language at the level prescribed by the host HPE;
• have no disciplinary penalty at the time of application;
• have no payment debts at the Academy.

Application deadline: November 11, 2022.

GRADUATE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

The competition will consist of two stages:

Stage I – Acceptance of Documents.

To participate in the competition, applicants submit the following documents to the Academy office:

Student’s application (free-form);

• transcript in 3 languages (Kazakh, Russian and English);
• letters of motivation (in Kazakh or Russian);
• 2 letters of recommendation: from the faculty (certified by the signature of the head/curator in Kazakh or Russian/. The signature of the dean of the faculty is obligatory), from the Department of Educational Work and Social Issues;
• A document confirming the level of foreign language skills (if available, a certificate obtained through international systems of assessment of foreign language skills (IELTS, TOEFL). A certificate of English language proficiency is not required for Russian-language HPEs;
• The written consent of parents, guardians, legal representatives of the applicant to travel abroad, if the applicant is under the age of eighteen at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Stage II – interview with applicants

Date and time of the interview will be announced additionally.

Consultations on the questions of the competition are conducted by the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations (437 office).

The information on the results of selection stage will be placed on the Academy’s website.

The final decision on the student’s academic mobility training is up to the host institution.
