Independence Day of India

Today, on August 15, the people of India celebrate an important national holiday – the country’s Independence Day. India’s missions in different countries celebrate this day with special reverence.

Highly appreciating the friendly partnership with the Indian side, the leadership of our Academy today visited the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center at the Embassy of India in Astana, where the celebration of India’s Independence Day was held.

The event began with a flag-raising ceremony and a welcoming speech by the director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, after which the cultural program “Vande Bharat” was presented to the audience.

During the discussion of possible joint projects for the upcoming academic year, the director for scientific work and strategic development of the Academy Zhanna Tolysbayeva and director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center Sanjay Vedi noted the importance and value of bilateral cooperation and new forms of cooperation.
