One Belt – One Road

The celebration of the 10th anniversary of the international cooperation “One Belt-  One Road” took place in Beijing. As part of the event, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography performed in the capital of China with the classic number “Joke”, set to music by D. Rossini-B. Britten  and the choreographic composition “Zhastar” staged on Dauletkerey’s famous kui “Korogly” performed by the folklore and ethnographic ensemble “TURAN”.

Also, Kazakh students took part in the BDA-Dance Forum, which took place on November 1 in Beijing. It has been held annually since 2019 at the Beijing Dance Academy. The event brought together over 500 young talents and more than 2000 scientists and professors in the field of choreography.

The Academy was represented by 24 students aged 15 to 20 years old, the trip was sponsored by the China National Petroleum Corporation CNPC.

Over the years, this forum has established itself not only as a platform for the exchange of experiences, but also as a place for in-depth study of the cultural and artistic heritage of other peoples. “BDA-Dance Forum”, organized by the Beijing Dance Academy, today is a unique cultural and public global platform focused on the development of choreographic art, professional choreographic education, traditional dance culture of the peoples participating in the “Silk Road”, where multinationality is identified as a key aspect , multiculturalism, tolerance, versatility and diversity of national dances, as well as the humane development of man and society, – noted  Bibigul Nussipzhanova, the Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
