Renowed clarinetist Darko Brlek visited the Academy of Choreography

On Thursday, November 17, famous Slovenian clarinetist Darko Brlek visited the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography with an introductory visit.

The musician has arrived in Astana to perform at the concert “An Evening of Musical Contrasts”.

During his visit to the Academy, Brlek visited classes in the ballet halls of the educational institution, saw the training theater, library, residential building, medical and sports blocks.

Darko Brlek is General Director and Artistic Director of the Ljubljana Festival. He is the recipient of the Bettetovo Award for Excellence in the Arts and the Župancič Award, the highest award given by the City of Ljubljana for outstanding creative achievements in the arts and culture. The clarinetist has performed at renowned concert venues in Europe, the USA, Asia and South America.
