The head of the Board of Directors of the Chinese national oil and gas corporation CNPC visited the Academy.

On October 04, 2023 the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (hereafter – Academy) was officially visited by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese National Petroleum Corporation “China National Petroleum Corporation” (hereafter – CNPC) Mr. Dai Houlyan with the participation of Vice-Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Arman Adilkhanovich Zhudebaev.

The Academy was built in 2016 at the expense of CNPC sponsorship funds together with the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC. Since its foundation, CNPC has provided continuous financial support for the organization of educational and creative activities of the Academy.

In the current 2023-2024 academic year, CNPC provided another financial support, allocating 26 million tenge to the Academy for the equipment of computer and language laboratory.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography contributes to the strengthening of friendly relations between Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China.

During the period of its activity the Academy has established partnership and friendly relations and concluded agreements on cooperation and mutual understanding with the leading universities of the world choreographic community, among which the Beijing Academy of Dance occupies a special place. Within the framework of this cooperation, an exchange of teachers-choreographers between the Beijing Academy of Dance and the Academy was initiated.
