The international conference “Great Personalities of the Great Steppe” brought together outstanding scientists and artists from different countries.

On April 9, 2024, the Academy hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Great Personalities of the Great Steppe”, which was attended by scientists, honored artists of Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.

At the plenary session of which the following statements were made:

• Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Baku Music Academy Gadzhieva M.T. (G. Baku);
• Head of the Department of Choreography Pedagogy. The State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan Sultangirov I.R. (g. Tashkent, Uzbekistan);
• Doctor of Philosophy, Professor. Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Shalabaeva G.K. (G. Almaty);
• Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Almaty Choreographic School named after A. Selezneva Tukeev M.O. (G. Almaty);
• Senior lecturer at the Department of Choreography Pedagogy. The State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan Zhalilova Sh.Sh. (g. Tashkent, Uzbekistan);
• Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor. Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Alisheva A.T. (g. Astana);

The conference participants shared their research and publications related to significant figures of art on the example of Ibrahim Yusupov, Gulfairus Ismailova, Alexander Seleznev, political leaders, as well as their contribution to the development of culture and the development of choreography pedagogy. 

The range of issues discussed at the conference turned out to be quite wide and relevant, which led to a fruitful discussion during which the participants were able to exchange views.
