Meeting with an outstanding Kazakh scientist and researcher

On April 29, 2024, students and teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography were extremely pleased to welcome the famous Kazakh ethnomusicologist, folklorist, nomadic scholar and doctor of art history, Asiya Ibadullaevna Mukhambetova.

Asiya Ibadullaevna is the representative of the Leningrad school of oriental studies and author of more than 100 scientific and journalistic articles, as well as the fundamental work “Kazakh traditional music and the twentieth century”, shared her unique knowledge and experience with the participants of the meeting.

First-year master’s students and teachers actively participated in discussions and exchange of ideas, which contributed to a rich and interesting communication.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography expresses gratitude to Asiya Ibadullaevna Mukhambetova for her valuable contribution to understanding and preserving the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
