The meeting at the “Oner Lab»laboratory

Scientific and creative laboratory “Oner Lab” held a Round table on the theme “Astana Opera Theatre” through the eyes of critics and spectators”.

The main speakers were the Artistic Director of the Astana Opera theater and rector of the Kazakh national academy of choreography A. A. Asylmuratova, first Deputy Director of the Astana Opera theater T. N. Alpiev, Deputy Director for organizational issues A. M. Kurmangalieva, senior lecturer of the Department of art history and art management of the Academy F. B. Musina. As moderator of the event was the ballet critic, Professor G. T. Jumabayeva

At the Round table, the speakers shared their vision on the development of the theater, its repertory policy, the level of performing skills of ballet dancers. In the format of “questions and answers” invited guests were able to answer many questions students and undergraduates of the Academy, which concerned the return to the repertoire of specific productions by the public, the wishes frequently to give performances and to see at the theater a good national performance.

During the conversation, the students voiced for the management of the theater “Astana Opera” and such topical issues as the purchase of discounted tickets for performances for students, and for ballet scholars – the opportunity to meet and conduct various interviews and conversations with invited choreographers and performers.
