A national seminar on the methodology of teaching Kazakh dance was held by teachers of the Academy

On April 26, the “Republican Seminar on the Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Dance Subject at the Technical and Professional Education Program” was held. The seminar was organized by the Scientific and Methodological Laboratory of the Kazakh National Dance of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in order to provide practical assistance to teachers of Kazakh dance at educational institutions in the regions of the country.

The speakers at the online event were Anvara Sadykova, Candidate of Arts, Senior Teacher at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, and Almat Shamshiyev, Master of Arts, Senior Teacher at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. More than 100 people from several regions of the country, including teachers and college students, took part in the seminar.

During the seminar they discussed the methods of teaching national dance to the 1st and 2nd year students, teaching the basic movements and their combination in the dance during the performance. Particular attention was paid to the theme of selecting music, including folk music and its modern arrangements, as well as new compositions.
