“Journey to Your Self”: a series of trainings held at the Academy

During 9 days in the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held a series of trainings “Journey to YourSelf” for students of the school-college of vocational education. The training was conducted by Maral Ibrahim, teacher-psychologist at the Academy.

A series of trainings was aimed at forming students’ idea of their own uniqueness and development of the ability to realize their own self. During the training the students were shown an example of the influence of human thoughts, his attitude towards himself on his life with the help of a projection lamp “Star Sky”. The students also performed the exercise “Sculpture”, which helps to open up, as well as to form the skills of self-presentation.

Finally, as a self-reflection, the students shared examples from their lives where their self-esteem depended on the attitude of others towards them.
