Academy teachers became laureates of the Freedom Ballet award!

On November 21 the first ceremony of presenting the “Freedom Ballet” award among figures of ballet art in Kazakhstan took place at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. The event was dedicated to the 30^th  anniversary of the national currency “Tenge”.

The Freedom Ballet Prize is awarded to 10 Kazakh artists and ballet artists for the highest performing skills, as well as a significant contribution to the development of ballet in Kazakhstan.

In total, six nominations were presented at the award: “For talent, passion and dedication to the Art of ballet”, “For the development and popularization of national dance”, “For a special contribution to the achievements of the Kazakh National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay”, “For the inspired development of the Kazakh ballet” Teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Nazira Abdulina and Anvara Sadykova became winners of the Freedom Ballet award in the nominations “For training ballet masters and performers of the highest class” and “For the development and popularization of national dance.”

Among the recipients was Academy student Bakhtiyar Adamzhan, leading soloist of the Astana Opera State Theater, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The laureate of the most prestigious international competitions won in the category “For a high level of editorial excellence”.

It is worth to say that all laureates were awarded an honorary certificate of merit in the development of ballet and a cash prize. The organizers were the investment company Freedom Holding group and the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
