Training “Emotions are like us!”

On January 18, 2023, Maral Ibrahim, teacher-psychologist at the Academy of Choreography, conducted a training session among the boarding school’s caregivers on the theme: «Emotions are like us!»

The aim of the training: to create conditions for emotional well-being, to study the characteristics of the boarding school teachers’ perception of the children, as well as to contribute to building healthy relationships between children and teachers.

The training was held in an art-therapy format. Teachers performed team games, exercise “My children as flowers,” modified for the conditions of the boarding school. The methods used during the event allowed the caregivers to get to know their unconscious perception of the boarding school children. During the sharing (feedback) the caregivers received recommendations from the psychologist to improve interaction with the boarding school residents.
