Creative evening of Kazakh composer Serik Erkimbekov

The creative evening dedicated to Serik Erkimbekov was opened with a congratulatory speech by the rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Bibigul Nusipizhanova, noting the composer’s talent and creative heritage, which occupies a special place in the national culture and art of Kazakhstan.

Serik Erkimbekov is a Kazakh and Soviet composer, professor and honored figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His development as a creative personality was influenced by his father Zheksenbek Erkimbekov, a famous musician, honorary professor of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. From childhood, the boy was instilled with a love of art, and as a result, he made a huge contribution to the development of music and ballet art in Kazakhstan.

On this day, many creative numbers were presented on the stage of the Academy, opera parts, songs, choreographic miniatures were performed, and every melody performed here was written by composer Serik Erkimbekov.

At the end of the creative evening, all participants were invited to the stage for a group photo, which will serve as a reminder to the younger generation of Serik Erkimbekov’s contribution to the culture of Kazakhstan.
