“Nauryz Ball” with participation of diplomatic corps was held in Astana

In Astana for the first time on the eve of Nauryz holiday “Nauryz Ball” was held. The event gathered the diplomatic corps of various countries, heads and representatives of international organizations.

Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, noted that this year Kazakhstan celebrates Nauryz in a new format, bringing to life the tradition and its elements. The special concept of “Nauryznama” gave the holiday a special peculiar character: each day will now have a unique name, which adds color to the national holiday.

Within the framework of “Nauryz Ball” students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography presented to the guests of the event a waltz, which was staged under the guidance of choreographer Evgeny Moiseyev (Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choreography, judge of the Association of Sport Dance Federations of the Republic of Kazakhstan). It should be noted that the organizer of the event was the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
